Japanese media treks to Northwest to meet MSM pioneers
Bergstrom Nutrition hosted a Japanese media company and customer in early November for an in-depth look at how OptiMSM® is made, marketed and sold in the U.S.
With the acceptance of MSM as a health ingredient by the Japanese Ministry of Health in late 2001, MSM has been experiencing increasing popularity among consumers. The publisher of a major magazine with a circulation of 750,000 sent an editorial team to the Pacific Northwest to explore MSM’s origins and write an article about this important ingredient. Three Portland-area retailers, Wild Oats, Whole Foods and Food Front Co-op, allowed photo sessions in their supplement aisles. They explained to the Japanese journalist how their salespeople are recommending OptiMSM to their customers, what conditions they are seeking relief for, and whether those customers are experiencing benefit by supplementing with OptiMSM. |
